Weekly Weigh In

Well, I am glad I watched the Biggest Loser last night. They are in week two like me and didn't lose nearly as much as last week. Some worked out 8 hours a day and lost 1 or 2 pounds.

I know you shouldn't weigh yourself everyday, but with South Beach you lose so fast that when I see the number decreasing everyday, it inspires me. WELL, this week I hardly ate and exercised more and some mornings I had gained weight!!!!! Then one night I ate half a sandwich and 2 bites of cookie and lost weight.

I am trying not to eat a lot. Period. I call it shrinking my stomach Survivor style. They hardly eat on the show and waste away. By not eating a lot now I hope to not over-eat in social situations and not snack.

Well, here is my number for the week: 160.4

You've still lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks which is fantastic!!! I'm down 4.5, but I definitely have slowed down the last few days. You can expect to lose about 1 pound a week from here on out, so don't get discouraged.

Can you imagine working out like the people on TBL and only losing a pound?? I would just walk right off the show!
